OVERVIEW
Coastal and inland waters hovercraft.
The Griffon 380TD is capable of carrying 5 people or 380kgs (837lbs). It is remarkably easy to use, largely due to the ability to independently control lift and thrust, unlike most other small boats.
The 380TD is a simple vehicle with an open circuit skirt, inflatable side bodies to provide buoyancy and reduce pressure under the hull, it is a coastal and inland water hovercraft.
An effective work surface from which to access objects in the water, the boat has no side slip control.
Made from a combination of aluminum and composite (FRP) materials, the 380TD is ideal for coastal transport in areas such as mud flats, swamps, ice, and in the event of flooding.
With the optional hover-on hover-off trailer, one person can quickly and easily transport and operate this unique vessel virtually anywhere and provide an emergency response over wider terrain, compared to vessels that are limited to land transport. water.
As a result, the 380TD was used for a wide variety of light applications, including shallow water and mud rescue, flood rescue, river and shallow water patrolling, survey and sampling tasks, and pilot training.
